AV Service Engineer

Position: AV Service Engineer
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Location: Predominantly South of the UK, with UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays

About the Role:

Due to recent expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Service Engineer for a permanent position. While previous AV experience is preferred, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a field-based role, with UK travel being a core element of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• AV Service Engineer Duties:
• Travel to client sites as required
• Replace DMB equipment, both internal and external
• Perform fault finding and resolution
• Report back to the service and maintenance team

Essential:

• Experience in a similar role, working to strict SLAs
• Field-based engineering experience across multiple site locations
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and professionalism
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Full UK Driving License
• Ability to commute to Reading daily

Desired:

• Experience with Digital Signage, Projectors, Video walls, LED
• Warehouse responsibilities
• Knowledge of AV systems
• Survey & Specification experience
• Skills:
• Good PC knowledge
• Excellent IT skills and network knowledge
• CSCS/ECS Card
